Terms of Use
Last updated: October 5, 2026
These Terms of Use apply to your use of Futuro Ciencia (futurociencia.com, “the site”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
What the site provides
The site publishes free guides and tutorials about making greeting cards by hand, for general information and personal enjoyment. It is a hobby craft site and does not provide professional advice of any kind. We work to keep the instructions clear and accurate, but we do not guarantee that every guide is free of errors or that you will get a particular result by following it.
Safety
Card making is a low-risk craft, but the projects on the site use scissors, craft knives, paper trimmers, adhesives and small embellishments. You are responsible for working safely and for deciding whether a project is suitable for you or for a child in your care.
- Cutting tools. Craft knives and trimmer blades are sharp. Cut on a cutting mat, away from the hand that holds the ruler, and keep blades capped or retracted when not in use. Craft knives are a tool for adults.
- Materials. Read and follow the label of every glue, ink, paint and tool you use.
- Children. Children should be supervised by an adult, particularly for cutting and for any step involving small parts. Sequins, buttons, brads and similar embellishments are not suitable for very young children.
- Mailing. Postal requirements and prices vary and change. Check with your postal service before mailing thick, rigid, square or unusually sized cards.
Using our content
Unless stated otherwise, the text, illustrations and design of the site belong to Futuro Ciencia. You are welcome to:
- read, print and use the guides for personal, classroom, library or other non-commercial purposes;
- make, give and sell cards you have made yourself by following the guides;
- share a link to any page;
- quote short passages with a clear credit and a link back to the original page.
Please do not republish whole articles or illustrations, sell them, or present them as your own work without written permission.
The card designs taught on the site are built from simple generic shapes. Our rights relate to our own written instructions and illustrations, not to hearts, balloons, flowers or other common motifs, which anyone is free to use.

To the extent permitted by law, Futuro Ciencia is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from following its guides. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
